Our vitamin D3, made from mosses

Vitamin D3 is a powerful substance that is involved in a host of vital processes in the body. It supports your immune system, boosts resistance, and contributes to the maintenance of strong bones, teeth and muscles. That's right: it's essential. Fortunately you're good to go with our perfectly dosed and completely vegan D3 capsules.

    D3, the essential sunshine vitamin

You might also know vitamin D as the 'sunshine vitamin'. It's one of the few vitamins that the body can produce on its own: it forms in your skin when you expose it to sunlight. Unfortunately, summer has to end someday and people spend less and less time outside these days.

That means you may not always meet the recommended daily intake (RDI) of 10 µg to 20 µg (400-800IU). Our vitamin D3 supplement contain a safe and safe dose of 25 µg (1000IU), so you using just one tab a day means you're good.

      FAQ

      Frequently asked questions

      • Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and one of the few vitamins the body can produce on its own. It's an important substance involved in many processes in your body, the immune system for example, but also your metabolism and muscle maintenance.

      • We use different varieties of natural mosses for our vitamin D3 capsules.

      • Today, the recommended daily intake (RDI) of vitamin D is about 10 µg to 20 µg (400-800IU) a day for adults, which equates to one vitamin D3 capsule a day.

      • In the fall and winter months, or if you don't see much daylight during the day, we recommend taking a vitamin D3 supplement.

      • The elderly (50 and up) and people with dark skin need additional vitamin D3. Young women, children and people who adhere to a mainly plant-based diet (i.e. vegetarians and vegans) also run a higher risk of deficiency.

      • Absolutely, our vitamin D is completely vegan-friendly!

      • Certainly! You can safely supplement our vitamin D3 during pregnancy.
