Viral Date Bark with Protein

We couldn't resist, so here it is: our version of the viral Date Bark! With a scoop of protein, completely Orangefit approved. Hello new not-so-guilty pleasure! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ˜‹

Ingredients (for 12 servings)

  • 250g Medjool dates
  • 3 tbsp 100% peanut butter
  • 1/2 scoop Orangefit Choco Blend or Protein
  • 150g 70% dark chocolate
  • 25g unroasted almonds
  • Pinch of sea salt

* We used the Choco Blend because it has even more chocolate flavor

Requirements:

  • Baking paper
  • Baking dish/tray

Instructions

  1. Slice the dates open and remove the pit.
  2. Place a piece of baking paper in a baking dish or on a baking tray and place the dates on it.
  3. Flatten the dates with the back of a glass or with your hands.
  4. Ensure the dates form a large, smooth mass.
  5. Put the chocolate in a bowl and let it melt.
  6. Meanwhile, mix the 100% peanut butter with 1 scoop of Orangefit Blend Choco.
  7. Spread the peanut butter over the dates.
  8. Crush the almonds and gather them in a bowl.
  9. Distribute the melted chocolate over the dates with peanut butter.
  10. Add a pinch of salt to the mixture.
  11. Sprinkle the chopped almonds.
  12. Place in the refrigerator for 1.5/2 hours.
  13. Remove the baking dish from the fridge and divide the Date Bar into pieces, ENJOY!
