2 February 2024|Protein snacks

We're crazy about protein-rich muffins! They're incredibly easy to make and perfect to toss in your bag as a healthy snack. That's why you can already find many different muffin recipes on our website.

Add your favorite Orangefit Protein flavor and get creative with the ingredients. Also, try adding some different nuts, raisins, or pieces of dried fruit.

We'd love to show you how to get started with these cinnamon banana muffins!

Ingredients (for 6 muffins)

  • 100 grams of oats (pulverize into flour)
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Banana or Vanilla Protein
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • a splash of almond milk (50 ml)
  • Optional: 1 tsp agave syrup
  • Optional: use an extra banana for slices on top of the muffins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Blend or process all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor for 30 seconds until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Optionally, grease the muffin cups with some coconut oil and fill them about ¾ full with the batter.
  4. Place a few banana slices on top of the batter and put the muffin tray in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Use a skewer to check if the muffins are done. If a lot of batter sticks to the skewer, the muffins need a bit more time to bake.
  6. Allow the muffins to cool thoroughly and store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator for approximately 3 days.
