Protein-Packed Banana Bread Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana 
  • 125 grams of oats 
  • 50 grams of almond flour 
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
  • pinch of salt 
  • 125 ml of unsweetened oat milk 
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (mixed with 3 tbsp water) 
  • handful of walnuts or almonds 
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Protein (vanilla flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Mix the flaxseed with water and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, add it along with the banana and oat milk to a food processor. Blend for 30 seconds on high speed until smooth.

  3. Chop the nuts into pieces and mix them with all the dry ingredients. Then, add the banana mixture. Stir well.

  4. Line an oven rack with parchment paper. Use a spoon to place 12 equally sized portions of the batter onto it. Shape them into round mounds and gently press them down so that there are 12 cookies on the oven rack.

  5. Place the rack in the oven for 15 minutes.

  6. Take the healthy banana bread cookies out of the oven and let them cool a bit.

  7. Ready to enjoy!

Tip: Store the cookies in a sealed container or freeze them for a later moment.
