Protein mugcake with banana ice cream

Delicious mugcake with banana ice cream and 15 grams of protein each. Incredibly tasty and 100% plant-based! 

Ingredients

For two small mugcakes:

  • 20 grams of cocoa powder
  • 60 grams of buckwheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of Orangefit Protein (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons of agave syrup or date syrup
  • 60 ml of almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the banana ice cream:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • A splash of almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. The night before, put a ripe banana in pieces in the freezer (tip: do several at once for another time).
  2. Put all the ingredients for the mugcakes in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Spray a mug with baking spray.
  4. Divide the mixture over the mugs.
  5. Put it in the microwave for three minutes until it's cooked.
  6. Take the banana out of the freezer and put it in a food processor/blender with almond milk and cinnamon.
  7. Take the mugcake out of the mug and put it on a plate.
  8. Make a scoop of banana ice cream and put it on the cake.
