Today, we're excited to share a new high-protein breakfast recipe with you. Fried oatmeal with blueberries, nuts, and coconut flakes. A ridiculously tasty meal that will give you plenty of energy to be super productive. Also, perfect to eat before or after a good workout! Quickly check out the entire recipe.

This breakfast recipe has all the right nutrients and is super easy to make. All you have to do is mix all the ingredients by hand, pour them into a baking dish, and pop it in the oven. Simple, right?  

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 40 grams of oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 125 ml of plant-based milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of almond butter
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit vanilla protein
  • 1/2 teaspoon of agave syrup (optional)
  • 50 grams of frozen blueberries or red berries
  • 5 grams of coconut flakes
  • 10 grams of almonds (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • A pinch of salt
  • Coconut oil

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).

2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Start by combining all the dry ingredients, then add the plant-based milk, agave syrup (if desired), and almond butter. Finally, gently fold in the (thawed) blueberries or red berries.

3. Grease a small-sized oven dish or a small pie dish (as shown in the picture) with coconut oil, and spoon the oatmeal mixture into it.

4. Place this in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

5. Optionally, serve with delicious coconut yogurt or extra coconut flakes.

Tip: Want to change things up? Replace the blueberries with bananas or strawberries for a tasty variation!
