Baked Oats with Sweet Potato

Ingredients

  • 150 grams of cooked and mashed sweet potato
  • 250 ml of unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 200 grams of oats
  • 40 ml of maple syrup
  • 50 grams of chopped nuts
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of mixed spice (koekkruiden)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Vanilla Protein
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).

  2. Combine all the dry ingredients, then add the sweet potato, plant-based milk, and maple syrup.

  3. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.

  4. Grease an oven dish with some coconut oil and then pour/spoon the oatmeal mixture into it.

  5. Place the oven dish in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

  6. Allow it to cool slightly after baking, but serve while the baked oatmeal is still warm and inviting.
